Mortalbug game

As a personal project I am working on a 3D mobile game based around my Mortalbug character. The style is low-poly and it will be an endless runner that switches between front, side and back view.

I use the 3D software Blender to create the characters, rig and bone them and then animating the rig for movement while using shape tweens for hair and facial movement. I imported the characters into Unity and am using a shader to bend the scenery to have the curvature I want. The backgrounds are modular to make it easier to duplicate environments for extended periods. It’s still in early development, but it’s an interesting learning experience.
